The boat is very docile with no bad habits. It accelerates quickly. It also tracks
very well even with its flat bottom (no skegs or runners needed). It can be turned
very quickly by leaning and digging in the paddle. In the event that there's insufficient
room for turning, it backs up as well as it goes forward. There's plenty of
freeboard at 220 pounds displacement and it is very roomy inside.
